Hi! I’m currently doing my Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at Charles University in Prague, with a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics and a background in Chemistry. I started out in the lab (because for some time chemistry was my whole life :), but through my work as a computational chemist, I really found myself in coding and Python (as it is my language of choice). I gained experience working at the Nuclear Research Institute, where I focused on building practical solutions in the computer vision field and overall collaborating with other scientists and learning how to manage a project. I am now working at MSD as a chemoinformatics AI/ML intern - so currently gaining knowledge also from industry :). I enjoy working at the intersection of biology, chemistry, and machine learning.

Outside of that, my side quests include hackathons in the blockchain space and slowly making my way into the open source world. I also love being part of the amazing Python community, whether that's volunteering or just hanging out at a good conference. And when I'm not doing any of that, you'll probably find me attempting to sew something, horseback riding, playing board games, reading romance fantasy, or watching way too many TV shows.
